Located in Dora, Missouri, at North Fork River Ranch. Summer is a 10-year-old quarter-horse cross and is a jack of all trades. He does anything you ask of him and can move into any discipline. Summer was naturally trained using the Parelli Program and could pass a level 3 test. He is a left-brain extravert and has been used for trail rides, obstacle courses, working cattle, started on jumps, and has liberty training. He can walk, trot, canter, back, turn on the hunches, turn on the forehand, and side pass. He has been working on riding without a bridle. He is smart, athletic, has great endurance, and is a flashy mover. Summer is an in-your-pocket type of horse and loves getting attention. He can lead or follow on the trail, be ridden alone or in large groups, and be ridden away from the barn or herd. He is good with dogs and vehicles, crosses water, goes through brush, and walks over fallen trees. He is easy to catch, has excellent ground manners, comes up to a mounting block, easily goes into and backs out of trailers, and stands for the farrier. He is used to being in a pasture with other horses, including foals, and is usually in the middle of the pecking order.
